Fuerte de San Diego Fuerte de San Diego - This pentagon shaped fort was built in 1616 atop a hill just east of the old town to fend off attacks by pirates and the theives that journed the waters along the coast. Today the fort houses the Museo Historical de Acapulco. The museum displays precious silkes, Talavera tiles and hand tooled furniture.
La Quebrada Cliff Divers of Acapulco
La Quebrada Cliff Divers - are a group of professional high divers, based in Acapulco, Mexico. They perform daily shows for the public, which involve diving 45 meters (147 feet) from the cliffs of La Quebrada into the sea below. Acupulco cliff diving was regularly featured on weekend sports television programming in the United States during the 1970s. Although cliff diving at La Quebrada had taken place for many years, it was not until 1934 that the La Quebrada Cliff Divers was formed. Pie de la Cuesta Pie de la Cuesta - is a small beach resort town approximately 5 miles north-west of Acapulco. It is a long stretch of land bordered by rough seas on one side and a very calm lagoon on the other. Waterskiing can be done in the lagoon, as can trips to see the "island"( Isla Montosa) on the lagoon where one can find crocodiles. The beach's somewhat rougher waves and remote location from the tourist center of Acapulco account for its lack of popularity among tourists, but the "closer-to-nature" atmosphere, romantic sunsets, much better prices, and many of the good small mom and pop resorts there make up for the amount of tourists it gets.
Mágico Mundo Marino
Magico Mundo Marino - The aquarium is located between the beaches of Caleta and Caletilla. The Magico Mundo Marino ia an aquarium that has several shows of sea lions, crocodiles and turtles. It also has swimming pools, two water slides and an oceanographic museum and is a great place to take children. From Playa Caleta you can take a glass bottom boat to Isla La Roqueta where you can go snokeling. There are also places to eat at the aquarium.

Zocalo Acapulco
Zocalo - This is the center of city's historical area and an important center for local family activities located in Old Acapulco. The zocalo is located in front of of Nuestra Senora de la Soledad a modern church with blue and yellow spires. The church host the Virgin of Guadalupe cellebration on December 12. On Sunday afternoons, there are often concerts or live music. there are also street venders selling various crafts.
