Carnival - Cuernavaca is a good place to celebrate this event. Carnival starts the Saturday before ash Wednesday and ends on Mardi gras. Held five days before Ash Wednesday, you can expect parties, foods, drink, dancing, exhibitions and performances like the dance "El brinco del Chinelo", where the dancers go around hopping dressed in velvet tunics and masks plus you can alway expct amazing food as well. |

Feria de la Primavera (Spring Fair) - Starts March 21st and ends around April 10th - this two-week celebration includes parties, concerts, exhibitions, street performers, good food and artistic events. This event lets the local people dispaly thier crafts and pottery at the fair. |
