  La Paz Malecon Malecon
The major attraction in La Paz. The Malecon (sea wall) is a 5 kilometer-long way through which you will find a great amount of nightclubs, hotels, bohemian bars and an endless number of local stands where you will be able to find the most beautiful local craftsmanship. The best time of day is at sunset.
Museo de Antropologia Museo de Antropologia
The city's best museum features displays focusing on the peninsula's native inhabitants, ecology and geology. Three floors of exhibits. Displays are in Spanish only. There is also a gift shop.
El Hongo Beaches
The beautiful beaches of La Paz are probably its main attraction because of their blue waters and great variety of colorful fish. Below is a list of beaches in La Paz:

Coromuel/El Caimancito - Popular with locals, especially on weekends, Caimancito is the location of the La Concha Resort, located just 4.5km from La Paz

El Tesoro - Small cove, named after buried pirate treasure was discovered here during road construction in 1965. Located 13km from La Paz

Pichilingue - Home to the La Paz ferry terminus and a large commercial harbor that never quite caught on. Nice beaches are just north of the deep water port; several palapa restaurants. Located 19km from La Paz

Balandra - Famous for its rare mushroom-shaped stone "El Hongo" that represents the typical badge of La Paz. This lovely cove and bay is backed by green mangroves; ideal for kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. A few palapas and BBQ pits are the only facilities. Located 23km from La Paz

Tecolote - Tecolote beach is one of the most visited of this region, located over the edge of the bay passing by the beach of Pichilingue, several eating spots thanks to its high level of popularity and ample spaces to practice recreational activities and sports; it is situated in front of the impressive Espiritu Santo Island . Located 26km from La Paz

Isla Espíritu Santo Isla Espíritu Santo - is considered as the most impressive in the Sea of Cortez . It is located in the middle of the radiant waters of this fascinating sea that features a crimson limestone ground. You will find here the Candelero Bay , a majestic beach with a mountain chain that starts in the bay, goes all the way until reaching the ocean and ends on a rocky complex part of other small island. In this island, you will find a radiant waterfall amidst lush green vegetation.
Isla Partida Isla Partida - Just north of Espíritu Santo, Partida has excellent snorkeling and scuba particularly at El Cardonal and Ensenada Grande Bays.

Isla Cerralvo - This large deserted island (some 30 km long) is surrounded by some of the area’s best diving spots.
