using buses in La Paz Buses - If you are on a budget local buses are a cheap way to get around La Paz, also there are buses that run to Cabo and Todos Santos. You can catch a bus from Tijuana Autotransportes de Baja California (664) 683 5681 ) and Tres Estrellas de Oro 66 26 1701 both service Baja's southern tip.
Rental cars in La Paz Rental Cars - There are several rental car agencies in La Paz. You can arrange for a rental car with most travel agencies, however it is always cheaper to deal directly with the companies.

Taxis in La Paz Taxis - Taxis can be found all over La Paz and at most hotels, and is probably the easiest and cheapest way to get around La Paz. Cabs are affordable and government-regulated, but it is wise to ask the taxi driver before getting into a cab what the charge will be, as rates are not listed on the outside of the cab. On the Malecon the main taxi stands are located in front of Hotel Los Arcos and Hotel Perla.
Getting Around on Foot in La Paz Getting around La Paz on Foot - The best way to get around La Paz is to either walk or take a taxi. It is a small town, so everything is very close and you shouldn't have to walk more than 15 minutes to get from one spot to another. Most hotels provide shuttles free of charge. Some just go to other hotels, but if the destination hotel is close to town, you can walk.
