| Every year the gray whale makes its annual migration from the Chiriko Basin to Lands end at the tip of Baja then around to Loreto, where the whales give birth and nurse between the months of January to end of March. You can go out on a boat in the breeding grounds and suddenly be surrounded by dozens of whales that approach your boat. If you are lucky you will be able to touch them.
