| The CLS was founded in 1960 by Dr. Ivan Illich+ as the "Centro Intercultural de Documentacion", better known as CIDOC. The School is one of Mexico 's oldest and most respected language institutes. Begin intensive classes any Monday of the year in groups of five students maximum. The CLS professional instructors have extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Our time-tested method of instruction, the cultural and linguistic activities, the accommodations with a Mexican host family, as well as the field trips in and around Cuernavaca provide the student a unique and rewarding experience.
