		Buses - If you are on a budget local buses are a cheap way to get around Mexicali. The busses in Mexicali are old converted school buses Some are painted ridiculous colors. The final destinations will always appear in the marquee. You can catch a bus pretty much anywhere in town for around 50 cents. Main terminals for buses are Calle Altamirano located just 2 blocks from the Mexicali border.
		Rental Cars - You can rent a car pretty much anywhere in Mexicali. It would be better to rent a car in the US and then drive to Mexicali. Make sure you purchase their Mexico Insurance. Note that to rent a car you will need to be over 25 in order to get good rates. If you are younger than 25 some agencies will not let you take their vehicles into Mexico.
		Taxis - Taxis can be found all over and is probably the easiest and cheapest way to get around Mexicali. Cabs are affordable and government-regulated, but it is wise to ask the taxi driver before getting into a cab what the charge will be, as rates are not listed on the outside of the cab. Cabs in Mexicali tend to congragate near the pedestrian border crossing and at Lucerna Calafia, and Crown Plaza Hotels.
		Driving in Mexicali - Mexicali is very easy to drive around, except for the congested downtown and typical saily border traffic. Parking is easy to find unless you are trying to park around the border area. If you plan on driving around Mexicali MAKE SURE YOU GET MEXICO INSURANCE MAKE SURE YOU GET MEXICO INSURANCE
