Pay Phones are located all throughout Mexico, it is reccommended to get a calling card. If you want to use a cell phone you can rent or if you have a "Tri Band" mobile phone, you can now take your cell phone with you and use it in Mexico using the GSM (Global System for Mobile) network in Mexico. Just about every town and city in Mexico (except for very rural or remote towns / villages) has at least one Internet Cafe, where you can surf the web and check for email online. Look for signs reading "Acceso a Internet" or "Cibernautica" or "Cibercafe". Charges range from approx. US$1 an hour to US$3 an hour, depending on the location.
