Central Surf Longboard contest - Surf contest that attract surfers from around the world that come to compete in this contest. It is held at different beaches but mostly at Playa Zicatela. There are cash prizes and food and all night parties with bonfires. |

Señorita Puerto Escondido - Beauty pageant, to choose Miss Puerto Escondido. Once chosen, Miss Puerto Escondido will declare the festivities officially open. The events during this month include the annual Pipeline of Mexico, Zicatela Beach’s International Surfing Tournament, the International Sailfish Tournament and the Coastal Dance Festival. These festivities continue with the celebration of a popular evening festival, held on the Perez Gasga tourist trail. Offering all types of shows, as culinary, sporting, cultural etc. |

Festival Costeño de la Danza - Coastal Dance Festival, this is a cultural festival that takes place right before November Festivities. This festival has local music and food. several folkloric dance groups perform their typical regional dances. This event has converted into a tradition where the communities themselves claim their right to participate. |

International Surfing Tournament – This is part of the november Festivities. Surf contest that attract surfers from around the world that come to compete in this 3 day contest. There are cash and prizes for top placings. The contest is held at the famous Playa Zicatela Beach. This is one of the main festals in Puerto Escondido. All night parties, food, dancing and bonfires. |
