| Surfing is probably the main reason peolple visit Puerto Escondido. Playa Zicatela is home of one of the heaviest waves in the world. Nicknamed the "Mexican Pipeline" this expert wave is heavy and thick and can reach upwards of 20 foot during April thru October.
