Quintana Roo is one of the youngest states in Mexico. Quintana Roo is located on the eastern part of the Yucatán Peninsula. It borders the states of Yucatán and Campeche to the north and west, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and the nation of Belize to the south. Quintana Roo is home to international  travel destinations such as Cancun and Cozumel as well as some of the most spectacular sites in the Mayan world, such as Tulum, Cobá and Kohunlich.
