Calling Queretaro from the U.S. Example: 011-52-442-555-5555
using buses in Queretaro Buses - When you go through customs ask the information desk where the bus to Queretaro departs. The bus lines are one of the nicest in the countryDaily buses run from Mexico City's Central del Norte and Queretaro's Central de Autobus, total trip will take three to four hours and cost around $20. There are also busses that travel to Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende.

Although there are several car rental companies, renting a car is not reccomended because Querétaro has such good, safe, convenient taxi services for local transportation. Tours and trips are easily provoded by taxis or buses.

Taxis in Queretaro

Taxis - are affordable and government-regulated, but it is wise to ask the taxi driver before getting into a cab what the charge will be as rates are not listed on the outside of the cab. In Mexico City, taxis (except for a hotel's shuttle taxi) are the most tightly regulated - and they are required by law to have a working meter.
Trolley tour in Queretaro Trolley City Tours - One of the best ways to see the city. Querétaro's trolleys begin routes at Plaza de Armas, the main square, and wind through the city's historic areas. Tours start at 9AM. The Querétaro tourism office, located at one end of the Plaza Armas, sells tickets and is an excellent source of maps, guides, and information about events and attractions around town.
