| From California take either the Intererstate 5 or 805 South. Tijuana is accessible via the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa border crossings. You can walk, drive or take a tour bus into the city. The drive takes under a half-hour from downtown San Diego. Although the southbound border crossing rarely requires more than a few minutes, allow at least 1 to 2 hours to cross the border coming back to the U.S. |
