Getting to Troncones from Zihuatanejo Airport The 35 kilometre drive on the recently upgraded Highway 200 takes you past Ixapa, then through the small communities of Salitrera, Pantla and Buena Vista before the left turn to Troncones. If you are driving, watch for the white markers at the right side of the road and the distances painted on the road surface. The turnoff for Troncones is just past the 31 km marker.
